Finals!

So, two down, two to go for me. My last final really was actually painful. I just took two advil because my head is pounding! lol. My next one isn’t till Tuesday afternoon at least.

2 down and 2 to go as well. History and Calc!

me too, just history and spanish

I had the history/calc combo today. Lemme tell ya, it sucked! I used all four hours for both tests. Have fun!

Ugh, I still have 4 left, monday history and russian, tuesday calc 3 and chem :(

yikes.. i'm 2 down and 2 to go also. history tomorrow, and compsci tuesday. used all 4 hrs on my cal 2 test.. pretty pleased so far though

They take 4 hours? Wow that is amazing.

yeah you are allotted four hours on each test, but some might not take that long. It depends on how fast you take tests and how well you know the material. You are allowed to get up and go to the bathroom though. I am a slow test taker, so I have a feeling I will be spending four hours on most of my finals.

2 down, 3 to go.

some aren't actually 4 hours-like Engineering 101 (funniest class name ever) has a 2.5 hour limit, but most people were done within an hour and a half

I definitely took the full allotted time for History :)

Law and MSS down, with Poli Sci, Spanish, and Econ still to come...

I've never heard of a final with a two and a half hour limit, but then again, Engr 101 is a brand new class. Everyone took Engr 100 last year, which had no final. That was nice. :)

Edit: Oh, and regarding time - certain subjects will always take the full four hours, while it's common to finish some others in about an hour. I spent about 2h40m on Law and 2h30m on MSS. I'd say that's pretty close to the average.

So muff, at the risk of looking stupid...Why is Engr 101 the funniest class name ever? Of course, I suppose I looked stupid today trying to get a running start and slide all the way down the sidewalk on the way out of Mass...It didn't end exactly how I'd expected for those of you who weren't there...I'm still a little sore :)

ahahahhahahahaha zman... that would've been awesome. i've slid on the strips a few times, it's fun!

yep my history exam is gonna take the full 4 hours. have to write a 2 page essay and a 4 page essay, plus other stuff. should be great :) how bout this weather? snowy, bright sunshine, now snowy again! lol

4 hours?! Really though?! Those have gotta be some ridiculous tests!!

My law final was 16 pages long. There were twelve multiple choice questions on there, the rest of it was essays...

Long story short, fuzzy finals always lead to sore hands.

technically its 3 hours 50 minutes, isn't it?

lol. navy's finals are only 3 hours each, but there are no exemptions :( and they don't get to pick their finals schedule. so after 3 days of finals, i have 3 down, 3 to go.

yeah, yeah, 3 hours 50 min

zman, i just think it's so funny cuz it's such a generic name. like basketweaving 101. :)

yeah, that was a pretty awesome fall (so that's what you were trying to do, eh?). if it makes you feel any better, i did the same thing last wednesday, carrying all the christmas decorations for mitch's. it was a magnificent fall. i laughed at myself for quite awhile and was sore for the rest of the night. at least you were doing something stupid. i was just walking ;)

Yeah I like doing stupid stuff...It's so much easier here to think of ideas to keep yourself entertained than anywhere else!! Especially because we have good health insurance...my last ambulance ride was just paid in full a month or so ago thanks to tricare...I won't even mention what I was doing because it was stupid...

ps. the hill behind the gym is very conducive to sledding, even in the summer...but in the summer you have to get a giant block of ice and lie on that as you ride it down...of course I'm not advocating anyone try that...

omg you're crazy!!!!!!!!!!

For you C4C's; look at the bright side. 1 semester down; 7 more to go. :)
