Finance major, but what minor?

I am planning to major in finance but i am not sure what I should minor in. What minor is most effective in the job market? Is minor really important when employers look at your resume? I was planning either psychology or a math minor, but I am not sure which one is better. Any opinions or advice?

Thank you

Minor in something that you are actually interested in. And as far as importance of a minor goes...not that important.

Why not wait until you see what courses you like. Your minor will have no impact on how you do in the job market.

Yeah. I wanted to do a math minor thinking I could handle it so I took my first course for it. Ended up getting a B in it and I was like I am not doing this again!

Perhaps you could look for a minor that could help develop a skill that you could use in your life, i.e. minor in Communications studies or Philosophy could help your written/oral capablities.

It's the person that can communicate effectively that often is the one who moves up into management.

comp sci or math

Math or Stat seem to make sense, though almost any other business minor works
