My school offers a real estate concentration on finance major. My school's undergrad finance ranking is in the top ten and finance-real estate concentration program is ranked at top 15. I recently got an interest in real estate and wondering some following things

What career paths does real estate major go through? Do they simply buy it low and sell it high to customers? or some type of investment on real estate properties?

How's the outlook like in real estate? Are there less job opportunities then accounting, marketing, corporate finance, etc.,?

Would it be good idea to double major in business economics that is taught in my business school? Basically I want to have econ+finance+real estate knowledge and that sounds reasonable for me. What do other people think?

Thanks!
