I was accepted into the school of Arts & Sciences at Pitt and was planning on majoring in applied math. However, I am thinking about changing my major into finance and was wondering how Pitt is in finance? Also, would you know how tough it would be if I decided to double major in applied math and finance?

I believe that since Math and Finance are in two separate colleges (business and Arts&Sciences), it may take a bit more time:
[Double Degrees | College of Business Administration | Pitt Business](http://www.cba.pitt.edu/academics/double-degrees.php)

If you see your future in business, another option is to double major in math and econ (both in Arts&Sciences) With permission, you may be able to supplement with courses in finance.
[Undergraduate Degrees | Department of Economics | University of Pittsburgh](http://www.econ.pitt.edu/undergrad/degrees-mathecon.php)

Best to talk with an advisor.
