I need advice on the books. I'm looking at what's required for this course. I can get a used book but then it looks like I would need to pay extra for the Wiley Plus and for the note taking book. There's a complete package offerred for $149 that includes the note taking. I'm assuming it also includes the Wiley Plus access? I'm wondering if I should just buy that as buying everything separately may be about the same?

Probably best to just get the package. But FYI, any Wiley unopened package with a plus code can be used for any Wiley text that uses Wiley plus. They are all the same. You choose the text when you set it up. You can often get a Wiley Plus code pack on ebay for $45. So if you can get the text used CHEAP, get a Wiley Plus code pack online and then get the note pack at the bookstore.

I never knew that about the Wiley code packs for Plus, and in high school when D took dual enrollment classes where the book came with a code but they never used it or even opened it, and they did not want the code pack back when she turned it in, I tossed them. Darn.

So… if I’m using Wiley for another class, I don’t have to buy another code to access a class I’m taking in the Fall?

Btw, I hate that stupid website. It’s so annoying.

I think that each code can only be used for a single registration, for a specified period of time. Once it is activated the clock starts running, and it will only work for the original course that was entered.

That is correct. It can be used only once, and even for that class it expires in something like 6 mos. But if you have a spare green Wiley Plus pack with an unused code, it can be used for ANY class.
