<p>I am in-state and got a combined $5000 from federal and state grants from Penn State. My EFC is 4500. Is there anyway i can negotiate to bring the price down? Lehigh University gave me alot in grants and so did U of Delaware. Can I use these as comparisons? Is there any hope of penn state giving me more money?</p>
<p>From what I understand, Penn State gave people the serious shaft this year in terms of aid, so I bet you won’t get much more. Guess those budget cuts hit them hard</p>
<p>Penn State is not known for good aid, it’s nothing new this year.</p>
