if i remember correctly, i got in ED and then i found my fin aid package estimate sometime in january i think and then the actual fin-aid package (which is tentative) came in april..maybe. I dont really remember but something like that

They send you a tentative one about a month after your acceptance. Then there's a final one in April, and you can always appeal that one, though it's better with RD since you can throw in names of other schools who gave you more money. I agree with marny, that if fin aid is a problem for you, then you shouldn't apply ED, unless Cornell is your dream school...but even then...

We got our financial aid information about a week later and a revised one in January and another final revision in May. We were extremely happy with what they offered. I didn't think that we could have gotten a better offer if we had waited RD.

i was just wondering if for someone reason someone needs to appeal and then be released from ED then is it too late to apply to other schools or do they give you the infor before you accept their offer in jan

my s already had other apps in before he heard from cornell. then had to withdraw them. its not a big deal. don,t wait until you hear if you are rejected or waitlisted to put your other apps in. we got fin aid info about one week after ed acceptance and then like others said, we got a revised one in june but it was essentially the same--actually a bit better!!
