<p>UCKitty: I’m not going to nit pick it any more but it is wrong lol. I don’t believe the value of your degree would go down that much, if at all because the UC system has a finite amount of room for students and even if they doubled their capacity it wouldn’t dilute the competition a ton. </p>

<p>I have a similar question. I recently updated my efan to “commuter” instead of “off-campus”, because i’m going to be commuting to school, so UCLA is revising my efan. I’m being offered a cal grant because i’m eligible for blue and gold and a 4k pell grant as well. My question is: Will UCLA give me less money as a result of this? The type of housing has no effect on being eligible for blue and gold or receiving a pell grant, correct?</p>
