Yet another UCSD Blue and Gold package Q

<p>Sorry for another one (I know there are tons), but:</p>

<p>On my financial aid estimate, it says that my UCSD Grant will reward around $11,899. I always thought this is what the Blue and Gold package was named under.</p>

<p>I look towards the bottom right, and it says my UCSD Blue and Gold package is is "currently estimated to be $10,302" which is clearly a different number.</p>

<p>Hmm.. Any speculation on why this is?</p>

<p>estimates are continuously updated and/or calculated based on different criteria? or the blue and gold thing is not the only contribution to overall financial aid?</p>

<p>The extra money comes from health insurance fees I believe.</p>
