The package finally came today. Don’t know why it took so long. The package was pretty good. Better than my expectations. Good luck to all.

We got ours today as well. Better than expected, but with total about $10,000 loan.

Got mine today. It was much better than I was anticipating and what the online calculator said I would get.

Can I ask if ND is offering financial aid to some middle and higher income families? Some universities can’t offer merit scholarships because there are too many highly qualified students so offer “financial aid” instead… regardless of the EFC.

Just called today. The financial aid office said that they had not made a decision on my financial aid yet. I even told them about a scholarship to another school that I have to accept by the 14th–just 5 days from now! Also, when I asked when I would receive a decision, they said 2-3 weeks. 3 weeks is basically May 1!!!

The same thing happened to me when I called last week. I have called every other day, just asking for the current status. Finally, today it I was told it was sent out. Hang in there.

We have not gotten ours yet, either.

I called and my daughters was mailed out yesterday (Friday) and expected to reach us here in NC next week.

We finally received ours. The net price calculator was pretty much right on. We are very pleased. Go Irish!

Aid package came the 8th, was extremely generous for high need student. Matched the NPC, excepting no loans and seems to have a scholarship instead. Is that real?

I was admitted early action. I still haven’t received my financial aid letter either. I called the Financial Aid office, and they said that my file was still under review and that I probably won’t hear from then until next week! I don’t know how I’m going to make a decision with so little time left!!!

Politistudent - Yes, it is hard. We are also waiting. ND is my daughter’s first choice. We have made a decision that financial aid must be ‘X’ amount for her to be able to attend ND. In the meatime, we have already selected her 2nd choice from the rest of universities that she has been accepted to. Makes it just little easier this way.

We finally got the package today. Frankly, I was surprised that she got any money from them at all.

S got his a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately it was the least generous by far of his top 3 (all top 20 schools). Disappointed but moving on. Good luck to all in the new class of Irish 2018!

Recieved the FA package in the mail…worth the wait, very generous scholarship. Accepting, this was my daughter’s first choice.

Received a revised FA package today… ND gave an additional scholarship. We are so amazed, we had no idea that they would revise it after the student had officially committed to the school. Go IRISH!

I live in Nebraska and I had additional information requested as well. There was an error in my fafsa so I had to resubmit it, and now I have fa packages from my other schools that were revised but I still have nothing from ND. If my parents and I can afford it, ND is my first choice, hopefully I hear something by the end of the week.

Good luck. Follow-up with you adcon. Try to find the right balance between getting the attention of the FA office and not aggravating them so they want to ignore you.

Hey guys: has anyone admitted off of the wait-list received their financial aid yet?

I am a waitlist admit and I have not. I must reply with my decision to attend ND by May 23, and I was told I would be notified of my financial aid early next week. They also said it would be sent by both email and snail mail.
