quick question

I understand that if you do work study, you receive money through paychecks

so...... what happens if you receive outside scholarships of about 5,300 so that they cover your student contribution (2300) and they exempt you from work study (3,000)

say the outside scholarship pays the money directly to penn. In this situation, how would you the student receive the money (that you would have otherwise through work study) so that you can pay for travel expenses, books, etc. Will the university just give you a paycheck??

thanks
