<p>got no scholarship..or anything...dang it...</p>

<p>My regents says 8,300.. what the heck? I thought it was 2.5k a year</p>

<p>i mean, last year regents got 2.5k, this year is a staggering 8k grant...</p>

<p>and the UCI grant is only worth up to 3k? i think its flipflopped?</p>

<p>Last year regents got 9k, chancellors got 8.4k, but there were less scholarship people.</p>

<p>This year its supposed to be 2.5k for all honors.</p>

<p>But there seems to be a mistake for this year.</p>

<p>i got about $16000 in gift aid though. i guess that's because my EFC is 0?</p>

<p>I think Regents covers up to like around 8,000 if you have financial need (I got around 8,000 for Regents). I got like almost 23,000 in free money, lol (I'm poor, :P)</p>

<p>We don't have low enough incomes I guess. And the fact that California is going through that budget crisis. Boo.</p>

<p>That sucks. I guess you gotta either be really poor so u can get financial aid or really rich so u wont hafta worry about the cost of college. Middle class sorta sucks haha.</p>

<p>I agree, the middle class gets screwed :( All I got was Regents basically. UCLA and Cal gave crappier financial aid too, bleh.</p>
