<p>I'm trying to find out whether my parents would be able to afford Columbia so I can apply ED, and was just wondering if they have some sort of calculator that can determine the amount of aid I would get. I've seen some schools with that on their financial aid website but can't find one for Columbia. Does anyone know?</p>
<p>I've been looking for one at Columbia's site but haven't found one. I know the college board has a calculator that I'm sure wouldn't differ to greatly from what any of these selective schools use. If you're registered there, check it out (I haven't done this myself yet).</p>
<p>if you can find a fafsa efc (expected family contribution) calculator then that will tell you how much columbia will expect your parents to pay...the rest will be covered by subsidized loans, work study, and grants in that order.</p>
