financial aid? Hi. I'm a freshman and just finished my first semester of college. I started off on the individual approval plan due to low SAT scores. On this plan, you have to meet numerous requirements or you will be kicked out of the university until you transfer, make 18 credit hours somewhere then you can return back. Being that I was a careless freshman, I failed to meet 2 of my requirements so I was kicked out. It says I am on academic probation instead of suspension but i know for a fact i can not enroll but it also says my SAP for financial aid is still in good standing. Is this possible? I thought if you are on academic probation them you'd also be on financial aid probation. I am planning to enroll in my community college in the same city, will this affect me being on probation? Will my SAP turn to bad when I transfer from a university to a community college? Will there be some type on leancy since I am aP freshman when I transfer. I really need the financial aid money and I am anxious to get back on track although I can't afford to pay out of pocket. HELP!!! BTW my gpa is 1.5 but I recieved 11 out of 12 credit hours so I'm guessing that is what makes my SAP still good. And also it still shows all of my aid will still be sent out on the expected dates although my balance is a 0 because I won't be attending the university anymore! Will all of it still be disbursed to my account. HELP!!!!!
