Financial Aid Fax Busy?

I've been trying to fax my financial aid forms all day, but the number has been consistently busy. Anyone else running into the same problem? Any ideas?

Thanks

I’m having the same problems as well =(
I’m hoping that they’ll take it tomorrow if we can’t send it in today, because I remember someone saying that they turned their FAFSA and CSS in late, and USC just said that the date they put as a deadline was just a sort of suggestion, and that they would take it if it were a little late…

how are you guys sending all your tax forms? are you all just faxing them? mine aren’t signed cuz an accountant handles them so idk what to do exactly… is anyone in the same boat?

Has anyone faxed it but when you login to the financial aid website, it is still under “required (documents and info you need to submit)” ? instead of under “received”

Same problem with me. I’ve been trying for a few hours now, constantly. And pinkie, you should call tomorrow to make sure. I’ve heard of quite a few people who submitted it, received an email confirmation, yet still have the the forms under “required.” They called the office just to make sure, and were told it was either slow processing or an error, nothing to fret over. You shouldn’t worry too much. There’s nothing you can do at this point anyway, unless you want to join the faxing party.

whoo faxing party x[

well, we still have a whole 3 hours!

3hours for what?

Saving our (financial) lives.

seriously? i still have no clue what to do for my tax forms… ahhhhhhh

yeah i’ve been trying to fax in stuff for the past couple days been busy… finally just went through

they won’t pick up the phone either haha

turns out my fax machine just wasnt working :)

went through on my first try

Is it too late to send it in tomorrow? What are the consequences for sending it in late? I tried calling but they won’t pick up.

^I need to know this as well.

The forms are still at the accountant being prepared per what my dad told me yesterday. What am I supposed to send them, then?

USC policy just says to send it in as possible. I faxed mine this morning.

I called a counselor (the person who probably knows the most about what would happen if you fax it in late), and she said she cannot say exactly, only that 1. they cannot send you your financial aid info unless you turn in all the forms and 2. it all “depends on the budget.” I’m taking it that we’re probably gonna be second class citizens when it comes to financial aid…
