Hello fellow CCers. I would like to ask about the financial aid given by University of Chicago? Is the school generous for internationals? I am planning to apply for undergrad studies there.

anyone please?

Or better yet, call the financial aid office directly: (773) 702-8666

Good luck!

wakekeboy, I applied EA and got $60k in grants. One of my friends got a full ride (also EA). You have better chances if you apply EA than if you do RD because they have limited funds for internationals, though. Don’t be offput by the “need-aware” policy!

Just to be clear I’m an international (non-US citizen residing abroad)

wakekeboy, we do have aid available for international students. It works a little differently from domestic undergraduate aid, so I’d encourage you to explore the information available here: https://collegeadmissions.uchicago.edu/costs/international.shtml
