Financial Aid for OOS

<p>for all you out-of-state UM students, did you get a decent financial aid award package? i'm quite worried since tuition for out-of-state students is 3 times more expensive than in-state students. my efc is around 16k, but my family can't afford to pay any of that. </p>

<p>also, i'm a transfer student, so i know we don't get as much as aid as incoming freshmen. anybody have any input? thanks.</p>

<p>My EFC is about 13k a term and I'm OOS. Guess I'll be taking out a lot in loans. BTW, I plan on studying abroad a semester or two and found out that many programs actually costs a bit less than IN STATE tuition, so travelling to another country may not be all that bad if you want to save a few bucks...:)</p>
