OOS financial aid

<p>I'm an OOS transfer student, Junior status and still waiting for my financial aid package to complete. I just can’t suppress my curiosity mixed with anxiety anymore. Tuition of the engineering school is ridiculous (~$33,000) a year and wondering in term of percentage how much does UM cover OOS students’ need? My EFC is around 1600. </p>

<p>It is a fact that UM financial aid doesn’t meet 100% of OOS tuition, according to their website. Any feedback is appreciated.</p>

<p>UM is not known for its generous financial aid, especially of OOSers... but you could be suprised when you get your package. I wasn't.</p>

<p>my efc was about 1300. Michigan gave me about 17000K in grants and 7000K loans</p>
