How is the financial aid at McGill for a US kid with a single parent that has a 35k income?
It’s a public university in a foreign country. There’s no financial aid that I know of for international students. There’s some merit aid.
If your family’s income is 35k, you ought to aim for in-state public’s and if you have the stats, meet-need colleges.
There’s some needs-based financial aid but I’m not sure how much they give to international students. Students can receive a couple thousand per year; this is significant for those whose tuition is only a couple thousand total but it’s a drop in the bucket compared to international tuition.
