<p>The SSS and each individual school will tell you exactly what you need as far as supplemental forms, like W2s and past income tax forms. Try to be very organized and you will find the financial aid offices at the schools helpful and kind. They will just get frustrated if you have applied for financial aid and then don't send in your W2s at the end of January when you receive them or you don't make an effort to complete your 2007 taxes before March. Obviously it is the parent's deal as far as getting the forms completed, but there is really no reason at all that a parent cannot do their taxes in February instead of waiting until the last minute. They are only hurting the student and themselves if they don't make it a priority. My experience is that the top prep schools are very generous when the need is there.</p>
