I've heard it comes out on April 1st, but at what time? Does anyone know?

im not exactly sure when it comes out… ive heard apr 15 and 31… hmm weird

Say your EFC was 0, how much would UCI reward you? Are they generous with grants?

I’ve seen a lot of friends with low income get a lot of grants from UCI, full ride even. However, even if you don’t get everything paid for like you had hoped, I think UCI still gives a lot more than other schools. That’s just what I’ve gathered anyway from myself and other friends.

what does efo mean?

** efc sorrry

It is your estimated family contribution. Meaning its the amount of $ they expect your family to spend on your college education.

ohhhh i see. so if you dont get state or fed. fin. aid then the school will most likely help you out?? how do you apply for that?

The school will help u out alongside the federal aid provided. Normally the govt. Help is included in your financial aid packet. You can get financial aid by filling out a FAFSA application.

no i understand tht… but what if we dont qualify for any fasfa? will the school still help in fin. aid?

Oh yeah. There’s merit scholarships and grants if you have like amazing stats.

but if you dont?? then pretty much nothing?

No you can still get help. I mean just plainly getting accepted gets you some, means your worthy of some merit. Though you might get a lot of loans. If you want to avoid that, then just get a lot of external scholarships.

HI!!! I have a question regarding this. it says that I need to accept the financial award in order to receive the money, but on step three it goes to “to do list” and then there is no button that leads me to go to step four. so I am not sure if i accepted the award or not.
