Financial Aid Information?

When do I get notified of my financial aid status? I am an international student who has been admitted to JHU 2013. My acceptance letter didn't say anything else.

I know JHU isn't need-blind so they were aware of my situation before they admitted me, but it still worries me that I don't know if I can enroll because I REALLY want to go!

Thanks!

Hey, can someone please answer spacecamper’s question??? I am exactly in the same situation as him…

yeah i also applied for aid…but received no info on how to check…

In the acceptance email, it says to go here: [JHU Student Financial Services | Self - Service](<a href=“Student Financial Support | Johns Hopkins University”>Student Financial Support | Johns Hopkins University)

yeah…but i dont have the id number thing…they never sent it

Just wait for the mail to come in. I looked and looked and found the email with the ISIS number and was able to log in.

yeah I agree with sinusrhythm that’s what I would have told you guys.

my friend got in and the finaid info came with the email. He’s also an international student. Hopefully, you will receive the news soon.

Is anyone else having problems logging into the site? I used my number for the first time, made a password, then tried to log on. It kept saying either password incorrect or successfully authenticated. But even when it said successfully authenticated, nothing happened. The ID and Password boxes just went blank. A few times it went to a white page that said “Not Found”. I tried changing the password, but it keeps saying that the account is not found.

I’m having the same problem as ginab591. I’ve had my ISIS ID for quite a while and whenever I try to log in, it says successfully authenticated but it doesn’t move onto another screen… the username and ID boxes simply go blank… I guess I’ll just have to wait for the mail next week…

Mine finally went through. It wasn’t great.
Does JHU meet 100% need? And is there anyway you can find out what they perceive your need to be?
If they do meet 100% need it seems like they think my need is less than what the FAFSA thought, and since they use the CSS profile and a large chunk of my parents income goes towards thinks only covered by CSS (medical bills etc) this doesn’t seem right.

Mine still isn’t working. I guess I’ll have to wait on the mail to see…

The ISIS ID’s were sent out in early January when they confirmed to you that they had your application.

I have my ISIS ID and password and when I enter them it says “Successfully Authenticated” but nothing happens… Perhaps because I’m international it isn’t working? I dunno…

^Sometimes you might have to wait a while for it to take you to another page.

hpfan, I had the same exact thing happen for a while, but then it finally worked and was depressing.

Mine was actually exactly what I needed.

i applied for FA and they got all my stuff and obviously my app…but still no id number…i already emailed like they said, but no reply

Yeah, mine was just perfect. No loans (!!) thanks for Bloomberg!

Will the financial aid office listen to appeals? If so how would you go about contacting them?

They are asking for a monthly payment that’s more than my father’s paycheck (that he gets twice a month) when he has seven other dependents plus my mother who doesn’t work.
