I applied for financial aid for Drexel and was recently accepted with an $11,500 A.J. Drexel Scholarship. I looked at my financial aid statement and it said that my estimated family contribution was $66,581, while the projected cost of attendance is $65,849. Why am I estimated to pay more? And does this mean I wasn't granted any financial aid?

So what this mean is that you were not probably granted any need based aid. THE CoA is how much it would cost ANYONE to go to Drexel, your EFC is how much Drexel thinks you can afford. To figure out what your actually going to pay Subtract the number at the top of your letter (the "Total Drexel University and Other Aid) from the CoA. Should be around 55k

We went through this last year our Expected contribution was about $48K after an 18K AJ Drexel scholarship. So 48K for five years and you pay during Coop! no way. Our sone went elsewhere even though he loved Drexel. I heard the lowered prices this year 40% discount for non engineering majors.
