financial aid letter

<p>Where are you guys getting your financial aid notifications from? I got an email with an attached Word document that said "Initial Notification" and all it gave me was Fed. Unsubsidized Stafford Loan for 3,500$...weird because two other colleges I got into, both public schools, also gave me 3,500$ in subsidized...so I'm wondering if this "INITIAL NOTIFICATION" is based off of just the FAFSA? Also I had to resend my FAFSA With Corrections and they processed it and sent it a month later (aka today), so I think the FAFSA info they have is wrong anyways....</p>

<p>Does anyone know what "NC/SC Honors Scholar- Trinity" means? It's not a merit scholarship they show on their website, and it's worth $5,000/year. Also, did anyone else not have any loans at all listed in their letter, who were not finalists for a merit scholarship?</p>

<p>Maybe you got it because you live in South Carolina, and it's an award specifically for native NC/SC students.</p>
