How generous is BU as far as merit and need based aid go? I really loved the school but money is a big issue. What does anyone think my chances of merit aid are?

V = 700 M = 650 W = 670
GPA = 3.72 unweighted
…i dont feel like typing in all the EC’s but there are a good bunch and i am president of a few…sorry for the lack of info, i am tired…

so i just realized that i don't even know if i am in the school yet so this all depends on if i am even admitted, what are my chances of that too....? I applied for communications.

You'll probably get in but I don't think you'll get much (if any) merit aid.

How about this, my daughter is a jr. now and hasn't taken sat yet but GPA = 3.98; 6/625; will have 4 AP classes by grad (block scheduling doesn't allow for many AP classes) all other classes honors if available, NHS; and PSAT M=740; W=720; CR=520 :( Decent EC's, not much leadership, consistent work history. We won't qualify for need based, so are counting on decent merit. What do you thiknk her chances would be if grades stayed consistent and she brings in a decent SAT?
Thanks.

have her run for any leadership position she can--all the elections for NHS, class office, and StudentGovAssociation will be held soon....or have her get involved in something that really....shows her passion. i'd say most applicants are in the NHS and yadda yadda yadda, so she really needs to make herself unique. maybe she could start a club based on something she likes?
