Does anyone know when Texas Exes chapter scholarships will be released? Also is this for merit aid too or only for FAFSA?
Just found this about when to expect financial aid notification: http://finaid.utexas.edu/spotlights/notify_150.html
@maheen97 January 1st
@austintxmother haha yeah, that’s why everyone is antsy about aid, as it’s getting reaaaally late in March now, and I don’t think they update on the weekend.
@Fuffy24 I posted it mainly because I don’t think the PACE kids know there is a different notification date for them!
@Fuffy24 Wow! They’ve just started reviewing the January 1st people. They are really late! I think I did it Jan 5th
Something good to realize about this is that they’re not just processing admitted freshman but alllll UT students. It can take quite a while to get your info
@Longhorns061012 that is not true according to the office of student financial services I am reposting the link to the timetable they list on their website: http://finaid.utexas.edu/spotlights/notify_150.html
It says that I’ve been awarded finaid on MyStatus, but still don’t see anything in CASH. Perhaps they’ll be releasing the decisions in the next few hours…
A&M adjusted my FAFSA so I’ve been waiting for the UT financial counselor to adjust my aid…the wait is so anxious.
Same here. It says my daughter was awarded financial aid, but when I go to CASH it says “Your financial aid award information is not yet available.”
I have the same thing on my account. I took a screenshot and tweeted it to UT Financial Aid just asking if it was an indication of anything or an error since I am currently stuck with only WiFi and no service to call. I’ll let you know if I hear anything!
Awesome, hopefully they respond or it just doesn’t mean anything.
Same here guys! Lol this just annoying -_-
Any updates for u guys in the last 2 hrs?
Still nothing…I think we get them Monday, as I honestly don’t think they update over the weekend, but who knows.
As of now my son has same status too. He was awarded aid, but no info on cash page.
Did anyone receive an Institutional Verification Form? I printed it and filled it out but do I scan it or mail it?
I had to do one for A&M, I just scanned it, but you can print it as well.
Our status is the same “you have been awarded financial aid”, click here… “Your financial aid information is not available.” Sigh… Does anyone know…does this mean scholarships, or could it just be loan offers?
Okay but I’m not sure where to scan it to? Do I email it or is there a place to scan on the online portal?
