Financial Aid on Albert Hint for applicants who applied?

When did you guys submit your financial aid info? ( for those of you who had a change in Albert )

I never submitted any financial aid information or FAFSA. I did not apply for any need based.

I sent my application in on 12/31, if that means anything.

On that note, when did you guys submit your NYU app ?

I sent my app in 1/1 but Albert says it wasn’t processed until 1/4.

My FA has NOT changed.

My app was processed on 1/1 but i still have no change

sigh so I guess it means nothing after all.

Hangingonstars- when did you submit your stuff?

Which stuff ? My application was downloaded on 1/1. I submitted extra materials to the FA Dept. about 4 days ago, and was received around 3 days ago. My status is currently the 2014 award access not available. I do not know when the change happened though. I am an applicant to NYUAD, btw, but I assume the admissions notification should be parallel. I was invited to candidate weekend and now expect a decision by the 15th  I’m so worried, I thought that this was a good sign but I guess not :frowning: also what is this “self service” thing some people are talking about?

I don’t know what to make of any of this, I just have questions.

Has anyone NOT had their FA change and receive an acceptance?

Has anyone HAD their FA change and get rejected?

Is the change gradual or was it all at once?

Also, has anyone had their application status change from CAS to LSP yet?

What is the difference between “self service not available” and “award access not available”?

The question is, why did some change and some didn’t?

I have a feeling it means that those who don’t show any change are rejected. that means I didn’t get in :(

I did some digging into the 2016 RD thread. I compared financial aid change and decision for 5 people:
Colombiana228
richykinns
shweeet11
nocchiz
lighttheskys

All had a change and were accepted. I found one person who saw no change and was rejected, but I forgot to take down that name. So far, it’s a good pattern for people who now see “award access not available.”

Man, I really hope mine changes in the next coming days…I really thought I would get in. Based on my naviance scattergram, I will be the first person in 4 years to get rejected with my score ranges. Damn.

Gah, I want to believe it’s a good sign but… Like there is undoubtedly a correlation but it could be completely random for all we know! Like someone said before, some people had the change and were rejected…

Another thing bothering me: on my to do list the status of the item is still on requested, even though I checked with the FA dept and they said they had received it. It that worrisome?? :(

I have not seen anyone who had the change and was rejected. Does anyone know which post it was?

Another thing bothering me: on my to do list the status of the item is still on requested, even though I checked with the FA dept and they said they had received it. Is that a bad sign?? :(

^Dont worry if they said they received it

Do you think all admissions decisions have been made by now?
Any what about all the financial packages for those who will be accepted?
