I was looking forward to apply to these colleges but I came to know that they wont give financial aid to international students. So, is there no way to get some financial help and get into these colleges? I would be glad if someone could help me let know some options.

Here are the colleges -
1.UIUC
2. CMU
3. UC Berkeley
4. UCLA
5. UMichigan
6. UT Austin

If you need financial aid as an international student, and there is no aid offered by the college/university you are considering, then your best option would be aid offered by an organization in your home country. You need to find out whether or not your government offers help for students who will study abroad.

You aren’t likely going to find outside options to pay for those schools…at least not enough to pay for all 4 years…unless your home country has those options.

Keep in mind that American schools don’t have enough money to help AMERICAN kids…much less int’l kids. Imagine if American kids wanted to go to college in your country…how much money would those colleges give American kids???

If you want aid, then do this…

1) Apply to the schools that give aid to int’ls…these are hard to get accepted to.

2) Apply to the schools that WILL give large merit to int’l students for high stats.

What are your stats?
How much will your family pay?
