Financial aid package at 100 percent need met?

Loyola Maryland and Franklin and marshall are both 100 percent need met schools. With an EFC of about 700, F and M gave me a complete aid package in which i would only be taking out about 5000 in loans. Should i expect around the same for loyola?

Congratulations on a great package from a great school! My SIL’s BIL went to F&M and has nothing about great things to say about his experience and education there.

As for Loyola, it’s a school, many of my son’s friends love. I wish I could say you could expect the same, but the fact of the matter is that schools differ on how they define need. Loyola’s formula is different, I am sure from F&M’s. I believe they do give some some great merit aid, and hopefully their package has as little in loan as F&M. But you just can’t predict as other’s have seen $10K spreads between schools that profess to use the same methodology, which Loyola and F&M do not.
