<p>I've tried calling the financial aid office many times and i still dont even really understand what theyre saying. I'll try to make this as easy to understand as possible. I am a husky promise student so all of my TUITION is covered by different grants. My housing is NOT covered by husky promise, only all of my tuition. I am going to be living OFF campus, not in a dorm. So, all of my tuition is exempt, and i just received a private scholarship for 3k. Lets say this scholarship allows, if all other payments are payed, for the money to be sent to me as a check (as most scholarships do). So, i have all these grants paying for tuition and 3 grand separate. Am i able to say i want that 3 grand so i can spend it on my off campus housing, or do you think theyll just take it from me to reduce the grants they use to cover my tuition using husky promise, thus basically making my scholarship useless, cause either way my tuition is covered.
