Financial aid question

"In addition to the PROFILE and FAFSA, financial aid applicants are also asked to submit the following directly to the Office of Financial Aid:

-Signed copies of parents' and student's 2005 year Federal Tax Return
-Parents' W-2 Forms
-Other forms as requested by the University of Notre Dame Financial Aid Office" <From Affording a ND Education brochure

What are the "other forms as requested by the University of Notre Dame "?
Are these forms sent to you after you mail the tax return and W-2? or should I have recieved something already?

Since it says "as requested" I would assume that it means that if they need more information they will ask you for it. I could be wrong and you can always email them if you want to know for sure but that is how I read it. Their email is finaid@nd.edu.

it's all those other pdfs on the website, like "student not paying taxes form" and "parent business" and "divorced parent" forms. i think i'll have to file some of these, but as it says that they'll request what they need, i decided to wait. i wouldn't worry about it right now.

I would echo the message of the above poster...The forms listed in the first post are the general information that must be sent in order to be considered for financial aid. The other documents, well 1) if they need them, they will most likely contact you...but 2) there could be some time lag with that whole process so I would say it wouldn't hurt to contact and ask them if your situation will necessitate additional forms being sent...

Ok. I was just checking. thanks!
