Financial Aid Question

My non-custodial parent's 2008 tax returns are not completed yet, so I know that the 2007 tax returns need to be sent until the 2008 returns become available. I don't believe we'll be able to send those today, and the post office is closed tomorrow (which is March 1 - the deadline). If we sent the 2007 tax returns off by March 2, would that drastically affect the time I'd get an award package (if I get accepted, that is)? Hopefully it won't completely knock me out of getting any aid. Thanks.

I have the same problem...

Update: My non-custodial parent will receive his/her 2008 tax returns on March 2 will mail the returns to all my colleges on the same day. Most of my colleges want the tax returns to be sent by around the 15th of March, but Harvard wants them by the 1st, as I said earlier. This 1 day difference won't make much of a problem, will it? I know how straightforward colleges are about application deadlines, but how will they react if my materials are sent one day "late"?
