Financial Aid Questions

I've done FAFSA and CSS, now all I have to do is IDOC. Should I send 2009 tax documents since we haven't completed 2010's, and send 2010 when we finish? If not, then what do I do?

It takes a long time for IDOC stuff to get assorted, if I mail it before Feb 15 will I be okay?

Do I need to do anything else besides FAFSA, CSS, and IDOC?

I am bumping this because i have the same problem as him for #1!

Well, I know for #1, IDOC does not want you to send documents multiple times, and it says not to send 2009 documents unless specifically asked. I believe MIT’s policy is as follows: “If you will not be able to send the 2010 income tax return through the IDOC service by February 15, 2011, send your 2009 income tax returns, W-2 forms, and all schedules directly to Student Financial Services. You will be required to submit the 2010 Tax Returns to IDOC when they are available.” (Taking a look at the MIT Student Financial Services page is a good idea! [MIT - Student Financial Services](<a href=“MIT Student Financial Services”>MIT Student Financial Services))

Okay, that’s what I thought I just didn’t know we send it directly to MIT.

Also, when I send these 2009 ones to MIT, should I include any type of student non-filer form?

Is MIT (and other colleges) pretty lenient w/ financial aid deadlines?
