So here's the basic rundown. I transferred to a university in Fall 2012 and didn't do so well my first semester. I ended up with a GPA lower than a 2.0 and was put on Academic Warning. The next semester (Spring) I got my grades up and got it up to like a 2.1. Then financial aid sent me an email stating I didn't meet their Satisfactory Academic Progress so they were going to take their financial aid from me but I made a SAP Appeal and it was approved. Then they told me I'd only get it back for the Fall semester and I needed to make a 2.5 GPA. Now I looked on the school site and it says the GPA required was just a 2.0 so why was mine a 2.5? At the end of this semester I made a 2.0 for the semester so now I'm wondering what will happen. Has this happened to anyone and how can I get my financial aid back? And yes I know I should of done better but I'm really trying to and I cannot pay for this out of pocket when everyone in my household is on disability and we're on section 8. Please if anyone could give me some advice.

Have you tried asking why you are required to make a 2.5 when the policy states you must make a 2.0? Are you certain that is what the school policy states?

Yes because they have a link to it on there website and they told me I could review it. I sent an email and called but I haven’t got a response.
