<p>I've received the Presidential award; however, I also did apply for Financial Aid. Do Presidential scholarship recipients usually receive aid or no? Please help, this makes or breaks my decision to USC :(</p>
<p>Presidential Scholars are eligible for need-based aid. The aid will be coordinated with your scholarship. If, for example, you had a USC-determined need of $35,000 the Presidential scholarship of approximately $20,000 would be considered a resource. The need would then be reduced to $15,000 and aid would be awarded based on the $15,000 in need.</p>
<p>If on the other hand, your USC-determined need was $15,000, the Presidential scholarship would completely cover your need and no additional aid would be awarded.</p>
