Financial Aid should be coming this week...

I talked with an admissions counselor who said everyone who had their FAFSA in before March 1st should receive their financial aid package in the mail sometime this week.

look online, I found my aid package there first.

Is anyone having trouble accessing the One Stop? If you are not, would you mind posting the link so I can paste it into our browser? The link on umn.edu keeps telling us that the webaddress is incorrect.

Please help!

Thank you!

I think that's it.

Or try this:

http://www.onestop.umn.edu/onestop/financialaid.html

and go to the financial aid status link on the side.

When we go to those sites we get an error message. Must be something with our computer.
Thank you!

what browser do you have? Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox, cause those seem to be working for me.

I'm no expert on computers but maybe it has something to do with that, Mozilla didn't work for my housing application for some reason.

thanks i didn't know you could look at it online already.

muzicgirl89, thanks so much for mentioning checking financial aid status online. Turns out my D's "financial application is on hold until you complete the requirements or submit the documentation requested below." We hadn't received any email or snail mail request for these items yet, but now we can download their requested form, copy the requested tax documents, and send it all off before they even officially ask.

Anyone familiar with the Gold Scholarship (pays difference between in-state and out of state tuition). We just noticed it wasn't noted on our financial aid letter (but awarded previously)... I assume it has nothing to do with our EFC or anything like that.

thats odd... it should be on the letter. I believe it was in mine. Call them about it.

it was listed as the national scholarship on mine.

ya it doesnt actually say gold scholarship or whatever, it just says national scholarship. i got it...but unfortunately im in state already lol so somethings not right.
