My daughter applied ED and she submitted the FA documents on time. When she checked the tracker last week, it showed all of the required ED items (CSS Profile, 2012 tax returns, etc.) as "received" and "for packaging". At that time, it also showed other items that are not needed at this time like FAFSA and 2013 tax returns as "not received". Obviously we were not worried about them since they wouldn't be due yet. Today, she checked the tracker again just to make sure everything was still OK and the extra stuff due later is no longer there. Has anyone else had this happen? Is it an indication she's already been rejected and then it was removed since it will not be needed at all? Columbia is of course a reach but we did have a tiny shred of hope...now thinking no hope at all :(

Classy schools like this send rejection letters out, they don’t make you Divine!! what’s going on by interpreting their financial aid tracking requirements list! You don’t have to be leaf reader!

Thanks for the reality check Axand238. This process is making our family crazy it seems :)
