<p>I was accepted into CPE at Cal Poly for next year. However I was wondering when Cal Poly traditionally releases award money. I have a really nice offer from UC Davis so it would help in my decisions. </p>

<p>Money is released on time to pay school expenses and if you are getting it you do not need to put down any deposits for housing etc. Just mark the box indicating that you will pay with Fin Aid. Call the Fin Aid department and get the straight scoop from them.</p>
<p>How much you will get should be on your My Cal Poly portal. Check the tab that says “Money Matters”.</p>
<p>That links tells me: Financial aid awards are not available for viewing.</p>
<p>So I think they are not ready yet.</p>

Thanks for the information. It is not yet updated on the Cal Poly Portal which is why I was asking when they would release the FA offers.

Yeah I’m getting the same message. I’m really anxious to find out as it makes a really big deal for my decision. I already know how much Cal Grant & Pell Grant money I get, just not the direct FA from Cal Poly…</p>

私もCal Polyに行きたいけどこの時代では大学を払うことがとても大変ですよ。UCDが私にすごく安いオファーをくれたからCal PolyがUCDのようなオファーをくればぜひCal Polyに行きますよ！そして私の夢は博士号を取ることです。だからCal Polyから卒業した生徒が大学院に進学することが出来ますか？大変また大丈夫と思いますか？

<p>My Japanese isn’t great so I hope you understood what I meant to say. Do you (or anyone) know what the average financial aid package is for engineers? Does Cal Poly concurrently release major specific scholarships or do those come later?</p>
