financial aid?

<p>Does anyone know when financial aid packages will be posted on Gibson? I saw that there was some sort of glitch that needed fixed and they expected to start posting the FA packages on July 15. We have yet to see my daughter's package. </p>

<p>I called the office a couple of times last week and was told to just keep checking, they couldn't tell me any more since I wasn't the student. My D's summer job is such that she does not have access to any computers. She has a smart phone, but does not usually have internet access to it this summer and can only use it for phone calls at odd times (like 11:30 pm or 5:30 am, when the office would be closed). So, I can not count on her being able to contact the office herself.</p>

<p>We need to be able to plan on how much our bill will be at the end of August. I am getting frustrated.</p>

<p>My child is a returning student, 4th year. The financial aid package was posted on Gibson middle of last week. It seems like they are posting aid later each year. At least they put a couple of notices on the website keeping us somewhat informed about the timing.</p>

<p>Thanks for your reply! I am glad that your package has been posted on Gibson. I have been checking Gibson daily for awhile and there is still nothing posted as of this morning. I guess that shows there may be a problem, compounded by the fact that D has limited internet access and so can’t easily deal with this herself.</p>
