Does University of MIchigan provides financial aid to international students?
I have emailed them but they say they do not provide aid.
You can read about need-based eligibility here: http://finaid.umich.edu/international-students/

If you asked UMich and they told you “no,” then why are you asking us? Why don’t you believe the actual school?? Why would strangers on the internet be able to give you accurate different info???
LOL well this is just a test too. If this had been an actual emergency… But really, I’m sure your nativve country would provide aid for you to attend. In the US most aid for state schools is funded by the tax payers in that state and also, for federal aid, in the US. So you can understand why state and public schools in the US reserve most aid for US residents, as they should. But I’m sure that residents of your country pay taxes too so that some may be used to fund schools in your country or to fund your education in other places.
From UM website:
The Non-citizens who are eligible for need based financial aid programs are those with permanent residency green card status. Those students would be eligible for federally funded need based aid (a Pell Grant if eligible, and a $5500 Direct Loan).
