Financial Aid

what exactly do you have to do to apply for financial aid? Just the CSS Profile and FAFSA?

thanks!

When the FAFSA asks for 2004 tax return information, what if you haven't done the 2004 forms yet? Can you use 2003?

I think you need 2004 asterstar. FAFSA isn't due for a while though, I don't think.

thanks. I just checked, and apparently you can use "best estimates" for the FAFSA, and send in the actual 2004 forms later.

How do they determine how much aid you receive?

I hear Princeton and Harvard don't include the value of your house when deciding financial aid. . . . correct me if I'm wrong.

Harvard has also said they will lower the expected family contribution (EFC) for families with incomes around and below 60,000.
