In the letter they sent regarding financial aid a while back, it says accepted students awards are sent starting the first week of March, if you had your profile in on time. It also says that if you are applying for a scholarship, then you will not receive the award until after the scholarships have been determined. My S is not waiting for a merit scholarship, but has not received his finaincial aid, either.</p>
<p>My S received his FA award today. VERY generous package, best of all the schools by far. St Olaf was his first choice, and it is very exciting that we can now afford it!!!</p>

<p>I'm so happy for you that the aid is generous. My son got scholarship info in the mail today, which was great, but we still are waiting for the financial aid info. I hope our experience is as good as yours!</p>

<p>A Minnesotan girl I know got her music package on Friday. Assuming they mailed them all out at once, that means we Easterners should get ours any day now.</p>

<p>I got the buntrock scholarship notification today, but I didn't get the financial aid package yet. I thought that they would send them together, but I guess not.</p>
<p>I'm another Buntrocker, and I haven't got mine yet, either. E-mailed an admissions counselor who said I should expect it a week after next monday (which would be the 14th)</p>
<p>My son received his Buntrock letter today---YAY!! We are in the northeast. Now, the time of decisions! I would love to hear from people, current students maybe, or anyone, about the academic rigor of St. Olaf, and about prospects for graduate school, St. Olaf as the launching platform. I know this is a finan. aid thread, but....and what about graduate school? In talking with our son, I realized our ignorance, we really have little clue as to how graduate school is paid for. I suspect liberal arts type of subjects have far less financial aid available, than sciences. Any enlightenment?</p>
