<p>Ok, i filed my FAFSA and my mom said she would file my CSS Profile, i just got my LL and it said that they have yet to receive my CSS Profile. Turns out my mom didn't send it in...I filed it today but I know I am in trouble. The deadline was months ago and with my family's financial situation i know i will not be attending college at all without aid (income<$30,000). I know that with Dartmouth's new FA Initiative i should be granted free tuition, but with my extremely late submission of my CSS Profile, will that still be available for me?</p>
<p>Don't wry...you are dealing with human beings, not a robotic machine. They will be happy to have kids in your position to help after making that initiative. Call them and tell them what happened, seriously.</p>
<p>yeah thats what im hoping. i cant call them today though because of the time difference but i will first thing tomorrow. i just dont want to sound irresponsible for not getting it done, nor do i want to sound like im blaming my mother. i should have just done it myself.</p>

<p>Because of the short deadline, they will probably ask that you immeadiately fax over your stuff so that they can work on a FA package for you. The only problem may be if there is non-custodial parent involved then you will have to also get his information to Dartmouth also asap.</p>
<p>I didn't get my CSS and FAFSA done until March 3rd and Dartmouth told me that it wasn't too late. Of course, I have no clue if I'll get my Fin Aid package with my acceptance letter.</p>
