Does anyone know if scholarships accompany the financial packet?

Yes. I got some $16,000 scholarship, and $9,000 in grant, but that was it. Oddly, they didn't give me any federal loans, so if I were to attend, which is improbable, though not impossible, I would have to apply for loans on my own.

aBeautifulMind....was it a medalist scholarship or another kind? what grant did you get??? What other schools are you considering?

I got a $5,000/yr in Medal Award and $5,000 a year of merit "Housing Scholarship".

Yeah I saw that the average scholarship award was almost 28k last year....that sound right?

that's kind of a personal question...the first part anyway.

So I got my Award letter notification. Does this seem right?

Housing Scholarship: 5,000
