Financial Aid

Hi,
I i live in Ireland and would be an international applicant to RPI, I recieved the Candidates Choice application thing which initiated my interest there. However the only issue I would have any questions about would be financial aid, being international I know i'd qualify - but not sure if it would be enough. We dont really have anything in the way of money prepared for an American College - and wouldn't really be able to with the situation. So just wondering what perentage they could potentially issue as aid. Oh and if somebody could clear up what the "binding" in relation to the early action choices actually mean that would be great too, i've a fair idea but just want to make sure.

Thanks - Luke.

Early Decision and Early Action

My understanding is that early action is usually not binding, and early decision is. Binding meaning that if you apply early decision, you are agreeing to attend the university if they accept you.

US Universities like to tout the number of states and countries their students come from, so I'm guessing you've got a good shot at merit $$, though I really have no idea.

Good luck!

RPI only has ED, NO EA!!!! SUCKS RIGHT?

why does everyone think that RPI has EA???!!!!!

RPI does not have an EA option
