Is there online application for Financial Aid?
For Canadian permanent residents, is it still need-blind? And how long would it take the mail the application from Canada to US?

No there is no online app for financial aid. All documents must be mailed in.

International students that are Canadian or Mexican citizens still qualify for need blind admissions. Based on what I've read I don't think Canadian permanent residents qualify for need blind admissions, unless if you are a Mexican citizen. I'm assuming that you are neither a Canadian or Mexican.

But I would honestly check up on this because it's still iffy. Call up the financial aid office.

Parent of a Columbia applicant here...I completed the Profile, which is the online financial aid form required by Columbia. They don't have their own form...but you do have to use the Profile. Don't know if that is true for international students.

I just double checked, and for international students they must complete the pdf that is given on the website and physically mail it in. The instructions for Canadian and Mexican students does not include any online application. Everything says postmarked and signed.

And after reading through the financial aid website I really don't think Canadian permanent residents are also considered need blind for admissions.
