I received my acceptance letter about 2 months ago, but have heard nothing of financial aid. I have heard from every other university, except this one. Should I call up, and ask about the situation, or have the RD applicants financial status not available yet?

It is posted online. http://www.studentadmin.uconn.edu
You need your 7 digit ID number - If you have not logged into the SA System your password is the cap. letter W followed by your birthdate and an exclamation point (Wmmddyy!) It will prompt you to change your password.

After you log into the SA System view your financial aid data by clicking SELF SERVICE from the left menu and then clicking STUDENT CENTER. Once in STUDENT CENTER click VIEW FINANCIAL AID

Good luck. My son got a small grant and some loans. We are out of state but the Honors program looks good.

It just says invalid password/ID. I tried it several times too and there are no errors. Should I call them?

Is it possible that you went through the procedure to set your password sometime in the past? The ID is the one that came in the original acceptance letter packet, not the Net ID one.

^Lol, no I never even realized I had to check online until I came looking on this forum for any hints on financial aid. Also, yeah, I used the applicant ID that was given at the top of the decision letter. It didn’t work so I clicked on the “forgot your password?” option and that said it sent a password to myfirstname.mylastname@uconn.edu. Would I need a net ID for that? Because I click on that link, but i think i’d have to be on campus for it to work…?

Your student ID is the correct username but you would have to check your UCONN e-mail for the password, then there should be a password in the e-mail.

ahh thanks. i had no idea what my id-number was, so i investigated a bit, and went on my husky email account, and saw that they emailed me saying that I was offered financial aid. Somewhere in the subject was 7 numbers. Guess i got lucky lol.

Im pretty satisfied with my financial package. I received about 10k in grants and the rest in loans.

How long does it take for the NetID activation code to come in the mail? I just received my acceptance packet on Friday and the password that you guys mentioned before is not working for me.

The password inuk mentioned above is for your PeopleSoft ID (7 digit number), NOT for anything that uses the netID (abc12345, ie 3 letters+5 numbers).

Yeah I know, but that did not work for me. It sent the password to my HuskyMail, but I have yet to receive a NetID activation code, which is strange, because I never got one for being in the Early College Experience program.
