<p>Anyone know any info on that? Like when they start mailing out financial aid award letters and such. I am so confused, all i know is that i did my fafsa.</p>

I ended up with about $16,000 in aid, if I don't take the work study. $5,000 of that is in subsidized loans though...but at least they're subsidized!</p>

<p>If you want a decent job on campus, you should take work study. However if you are not worried about having extra money around, then you shouldn't worry about it.</p>
<p>Meh..I might look into...I sent in a financial aid appeal though. The woman at the financial aid office was super nice, and said she would adjust my financial aid. Woot! lol</p>
<p>I still haven't gotten mine. I received a notice saying they didn't have a proof of citizenship document and needed the original. I ended up sending a copy and in a week got the same letter requesting the original. I called a few times and received an incoherent response from a confused worker. Their site states a copy of the documentation will suffice, but I'm still waiting...</p>

<p>I got my financial award letter today and i am really confused. UCONN gave me two grants and two loans and NO WORK STUDY. All the other schools gave me work study considering i do qualify for it because of low income. Anybody know what i should do?</p>
<p>be thankful, rcherry, i had a generally low efc, stellar (according to my gc) stats, and i got nothing but $5,000 in stupid loans, and only $640 of work study. no merit aid, although i qualify for most, no grants, although i qualify for most, and not even $700 of work study. needlesstosay, i wrote them a letter :)</p>

<p>i did call them, they said theres nothing i can do at this point...which isnt helpful! :(</p>
