Hi,

My son has been admitted to JHU. We are so proud of him! I am helping him to complete fafsa form now and found a problem at the field of "First College". In fact, we can't type in the federal school code the JHU web site provided but have to use the 'search' from the fafsa site to find the school then the code as the search result automatically filled in the field. The federal school code generated from fafsa is 002077.

On the JHU website JHU Student Financial Services | Prospective Students | Freshman & Transfers | How to Apply, we see the code should be used is E00473.

Please advise me what's wrong. If the code is the one we have to use, how can I type in the code into the form please??

Many thanks!

I do not have access to the FAFSA form so unfortunately I can not assist with your question. My suggestion would be to contact either technical support for FAFSA or the JHU Financial Aid Office: fin_aid@jhu.edu.

Thanks. I will contact JHU Financial Aid Office.

Would like to post the answer from JHU here in case others experience same thing as I did:

“Either E00473 or 002077 can be used as the school code for JHU.”

Thank you for posting this update. Good to know both codes work.

Wow. I just now found out about Hopkins Interactive!! And I have been looking all over for advice concerning Hopkins! Thanks AdmissionsDaniel! I am amazed at all the posts you are able to respond to.

Is the Financial Aid Office going to release ISIS ID information any time soon? I have been wanting to check my financial aid status/awards but I can’t until I am sent the ISIS identifier email. Is there a problem if I haven’t received it yet?

Never mind. Found the id.
