Does anyone know when U of M usually releases financial aid packages for accepted students? Do any current students remember when they heard back? Nothing at all has shown up on WA for me, and I submitted the PROFILE in November, and FAFSA on like the 5th of February...I heard early March, but I'm not sure.

I have an efc of 0, so financial aid is really important. Is anyone in a similar position? Does U of M usually meet need for someone like me? Can any current students share their experience with financial aid?

I was in the same boat as you several years back. From WA, seems i heard March 7th but i submitted before you i believe.

if you are instate you should be fine. Maybe a couple thousand in loans but they’ll definitely cover for you. [and plus, you’ll receive the M-pact scholarship/Federal Opp grant]. Shouldn’t worry too much. If your OOS, you’ll just need to get a lot of loans, maybe even from an outside loan program like Sallie Mae.
